by Franklin Rubinstein
This set of four card games teaches three essential anger control skills: Pause and identify additional feelings; Rewind and learn from past experience; and Fast Forward to consider consequences. Competitive and cooperative versions are included for Grades 2 through 6 and for Grades 6 through 9. As they play, kids practice the three skills described above and learn to handle frustration, think before acting, benefit from previous mistakes, and deal with anger rationally.
